Main Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
- Provide a high quality timely ultrasound service for our scan department.
- Manipulate and positioning of expensive ultrasound equipment in order to produce high quality images.
- Producing report based on the ultrasound image
- Communicate the results to the patient and other healthcare professionals.
The Ideal Candidate
What we look for in new colleagues:
- We are a busy ultrasound department within a GP practice looking for a conscientious general Sonographer to join our team
- Qualified and experienced to scan abdominal, renal, gynae (including transvaginal scans) and testes
- Good communication skills are also required with the ability to counsel patients and liaise with other healthcare professionals, GP’s and administrative team.
